New Delhi: Amid mixed trends in the Asian markets on Tuesday, the domestic share market today started trading with gains.
In early trade, Sensex reached 61200 and Nifty crossed 18150. The stock market is touching these numbers due to the buying trend in heavyweight stocks like Reliance and IT.
During the business today, focus will be on Reliance, Vodafone Idea, Airtel, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, Bajaj Finance, Canara Bank, Cipla, Kotak Bank and Dr Lal Path Labs.
At 9:17 AM, Sensex was at 61,106.53 with a gain of 139.48 points and Nifty is up by 46.00 points at 18,171.40. About 2058 shares have advanced, 637 shares declined, and 125 shares are unchanged.
BSE-listed companies such as ABB India, Axis Bank, Cipla, Ambuja cements, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Asahi Songwon Colors, Birlasoft, Best Agrolife, Canara Bank, Central Bank of India, Century Enka, Cera Sanitaryware, Coromandel Engineering, Gati, Greaves Cotton, Greenlam Industries, Hikal, IRB Infrastructure Developers, Jindal Stainless, Dr Lal PathLabs, Mahindra Lifespace Developers, Meghmani Finechem, Mahanagar Gas, Meghmani Organics, Persistent Systems, PI Industries, Torrent Pharmaceuticals, and Zensar Technologies will release September quarter earnings on October 26.
At 11:06, the Bomabt Stock Exchange (BSE) was at 61,003.49, while National Stock Exchange opened at 18,154.50
